Yes, all fragrances are original and manufactured by their specific designers in their original packaging. We do not sell imitations! We do, however, sell items which are “unboxed” and others that are “testers”. These details are specified in item description in a way that is obvious and not misleading to the purchaser. If an item is “unboxed” or “tester” it will say so in its description. These are not inferior items, but probably not “gift worthy”. We offer these items at a discount for those that choose to consume the item for personal use rather than purchase as a gift. We recommend that items purchased for gifts do not include the description of “unboxed” or “tester”.


-An item I'd like to purchase has a description that says “tester”, “unboxed”, “mini”, “unsealed”, “sample”, etc. What do these mean?

We recommend that items marked with the definitions that follow below should not be purchased as gifts but rather purchased for personal use.



Definitions:

-Tester
Original fragrance in original container without its box or cap

-Unboxed
Original fragrance in original container with a cap but without its box

-Mini
Original fragrance with a box and cap but in a size larger than a sample but smaller than the smallest commercially available size. Usually a partial ounce.

-Unsealed
Original fragrance with a box and cap but its original box seal has been removed.

-Sample
Original fragrance usually in a tiny vile that is much smaller than a “mini” and typically used for marketing purposes.


-Decoded
Items marked “decoded” are original fragrance with a box and a cap that come sealed or “unsealed” and barcode on box has been removed. Barcode is typically replaced with a sticker or other means to cover the portion of the box that was removed.


-Why do you sell items that are unsealed, samples, decoded, testers, or unboxed, etc?

We sell these items simply to pass on the savings to the end user “you”. If you have a preferred fragrance that you purchase regularly, why not get it at a discount simply because it is unboxed, a tester, etc. rather than in its original retail packaging. It is just the way that we appeal to a wide variety of consumers and extend the savings likewise.


-Do I have to pay sales tax?

All orders shipped to Florida must pay Florida sales tax which is 7%. All orders shipped to New York must pay New York sales tax which is 8.375%. Orders shipped to any other state are duty free.

-What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping costs are as follows for US Orders:

*$6.95 For the first item and $1.50 for each additional item.

*Wholesale/ bulk orders (in excess of $1000): Arrangements to be made per your instructions

-What is your Return Policy?

*Returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase if returned in original packaging and free of damage for a full refund less cost of original shipping (if applicable).

*If items are returned “postmarked” after 15 days of purchase, they will be subject to a restocking fee of 10% of purchase price and less the cost of original shipping (if applicable).

-What is the difference between EDT, EDP, and other abbreviations?

-What is the difference between Eau de Parfum, Eau de Cologne, After Shave, Eau de Toilette, and other strengths and descriptions?

These terms all refer to the strength of the fragrance, or more specifically, to how much fragrance oils have been added to the high grade alcohol and/or water in a given fragrance. Parfum is generally the most concentrated form you can buy and has 15-25% perfume oil dissolved in alcohol. Any mixture with a lower proportion of oil to alcohol is an “eau” meaning water.


-Fragrance Concentration & abbreviation definitions

In order of strength:

PERFUME OIL = Pure Perfume
lasts 6+ hours 15%-30% perfume oil in an oil rather than alcohol base
- Rare. Few fragrances are commercially available in this concentration, and those that are tend to be extremely costly.

SOIE de PERFUME
lasts 3 to 6 hours 15% - 18% perfume oil- Not common commercially

EDP = Eau de parfum
lasts 3 to 5 hours 8% - 15% perfume oil - Fairly common. Price depends on the brand, the fragrance, etc., but more expensive than less concentrated fragrances. Very popular commercially

EDT = Eau de Toilette
lasts 3 to 4 hours 4% - 10% perfume oil - Common. Typically the strongest concentration available in men's fragrance. Very popular commercially

EDC = Eau de Cologne
lasts up to 3 hours 2% - 5% perfume oil - Common. Was once a very popular concentration. Fairly popular in fragrances for men - not popular in women's fragrances.

A/S = After Shave
lasts 2 to 3 hours 3% or less perfume oil - Common. Also note that after shave often has aloe or other balms in it to sooth the skin after a shave, and the alcohol can help close pores.


-What if my product comes broken?

We ship with USPS and UPS, both of which have optional insurance coverage at a minimal cost. We include this optional insurance as a part of the shipping costs that we charge. A simple claim form can be filled out for damaged goods and you will be reimbursed for the cost of the damaged product. Damaged goods are not typical since items are well packaged.


-I received part of my order one day and the rest on another day and/or items came from two different locations, why is this so?

Because of the large variety of fragrances that we carry, new arrivals, and multiple orders, we sometimes need to backorder items or ship items from our warehouse. This may cause a slight delay with some of the items which you order. We ship those items that are in stock first and send the rest as they become available. This is typically not an issue unless order is for a large amount of a wide variety of items of which some may not be in stock. For smaller orders, you will be notified if an item is not available and given the option to cancel or modify your order.


-How long does it take to ship an order?

Typically, you should receive your order within a week (apx. 7 business days). To be absolutely sure that your order is processed and shipped in time, we recommend ordering 3 weeks before the deadline that you seek. If you need items shipped via priority/ next day shipping, please notify us before you order and we will accommodate you.


-Do you have gift cards?

Yes. We provide e-cards deliverable via email to the purchaser with a unique code that can be accessed by the “giftee” to purchase items from our site. Being that we provide over 6000 different fragrances, you cannot go wrong with a gift card!
